Emily Schulman - Baby Skates

Emily Schulman (born August 17, 1977) is an American former child actress and commercial agent, and current acting instructor. She is best known for her role as next-door neighbor Harriet Brindle on the sitcom Small Wonder.

Emily appeared alongside Jenny Lewis in a commercial for Mattel's Baby Skates in 1982, and co-starred in Troop Beverly Hills in 1989.

Life and Career

Emily had appeared in over 200 television commercials by the age of six. In 1984, she was cast as Harriet on Small Wonder, which ran for four seasons and 96 episodes. She was a guest star on several other TV shows, and appeared in the 1989 films Troop Beverly Hills and Caddie Woodlawn, before landing her final role as a Ruby Mae Morrison on the series Christy, starring Kellie Martin. She was nominated for five Young Artist Awards and won two of them.

At age seventeen, Schulman began a career shift away from the cameras. In 2008, after 13 years as the head of Acme Talent & Literary's Commercial Division, Schulman relocated her department to its current home at Talentworks. Schulman teaches acting in Connecticut.

In 2002, Schulman married Derek Webster, and the couple have four children.
