Los Angeles is a city in the state of California in the United States. It's the birthplace of Linda Lewis.

Linda met Eddie Gordon in L.A. in the 1970s at the musicians union. They spotted a job listing on a bulletin board, stating that a Las Vegas lounge act was looking for a singer and a harmonica player. They drove out there separately and joined the band Love's Way. After Linda and Eddie Gordon split up in 1978, Linda left the band and relocated with her daughters Jenny and Leslie to Los Angeles once again.

While she worked as a waitress, Linda began bringing Jenny to auditions, getting her parts in commercials, and later TV shows and movies.
